The story

A detuned saw lead states the emotional motif early, falling and rising over minor pentatonic shapes, while pitched vocal chops flicker in and out like reflections on wet marble.
Vocoded chant pads hum low under the arrangement, more texture than melody, giving the neon-glow synth layers something warm to sit on. Rhodes fills the gaps between drum hits with soft, unresolved chords, and muted trumpet stabs land in the sparse events that punctuate the reverb rather than crowding it.
