The story
Two Stroke Prayer runs at 128 BPM in E minor, built entirely around the image of a motorcycle at full throttle: the two-stroke exhaust pulse itself becomes the track's hard physical motor, while chain and sprocket clatter locks in as a genuine percussive layer rather than sound-effect decoration. The engine climbing toward its rev limiter morphs directly into a screaming electric guitar lead.
That guitar's pitch settles into the root note as the imagined gear changes land like snare hits, a direct translation of mechanical motion into musical structure. The first climax arrives as full throttle, guitar and exhaust pulse locked in unison at the loudest point of the piece, before everything drops into a long bare valley where the bike idles alone in a tunnel.
In that valley only the naked exhaust pulse echoes, sparse and mechanical, before the second theme returns on harmonized guitars over a heavier kick than before. The second climax lands higher and fiercer than the first, guitar and exhaust locking together again at greater volume, followed by a reprise and a false ending like a stall before one last rev of the engine closes the piece for good.
