The story

The half-time boom-bap groove stays dusty and rounded, no clicks, no rimshots, just soft-attack percussion holding the low end steady.
The violin solo arrives as the track's one clear voice, threading a melancholic line over the dub stabs, rising and falling but never resolving fully. Silence does real work here: whole bars drop to just bass and reverb tail before the chord stabs return, filtered down to a whisper. Each section feels like a new room in the same flooded house.
By the close everything thins out again, the alphorn fading last, the fretless bass gliding to a final unresolved bend in F minor. Nothing loud ever happens. The track just keeps sinking, slow and warm, until it's gone.
